Those of you with the full collection of bound and indexed Classic Car Mart magazines will know that this car was featured over four pages back in 2004. It was owned then, as now, by our vendor who bought the car in 2000 and has cared for it ever since.

The car has an MOT record going back 22 years and a full photographic history of work done to it. Our vendor has used the car lightly, but regularly, keeping it in tip-top condition, as can be seen from the photographs.

The car has had new front inner and outer wings and a new boot floor during the vendor’s ownership and is also fitted with wheel arch liners. BNY 364B sports a Honeybourne Moulding’s Surrey hard top which suits it very well and makes the car a practical year-round proposition (there is no soft top with the car).

The interior is equally smart with unmarked half-leather upholstery, smart carpets, a Moto-Lita wood-rimmed steering wheel and bespoke walnut dashboard. The seats were overhauled with new foam just two years ago.

The engine, which is the original, has had a full rebuild, including the fitting of hardened valve seats for unleaded fuel and a high torque starter motor. There is an overdrive unit fitted to the gearbox, which works on second, third and fourth gears. There is also a brake servo.

It is easy to see that this car has been well cared for in the 18 years that our vendor has owned it. It is in lovely working condition and is a car that will not look out of place at any classic car show, but will also be capable of driving there and back again - wherever the show - with no problems. Our vendor will be driving the car from Pembrokeshire to the sale.

AMENDMENT: Not a new boot floor, but half boot lid
