This splendid 1933 Super Sports Morgan 3-wheeler comes to us from a deceased estate and has had much work carried out in recent times.

The history file is somewhat sparse but includes five old tax discs dating from the early ‘50s, a period when it was living in Staffordshire. Nothing is known of its subsequent history until 2004 when it came into the hands of David Cameron from Malvern. At this time, it was put back onto its original Birmingham-issue registration, OJ 6914.

A letter on file mentions that the chassis was retubed, although the original chassis lugs were incorporated. The woodwork was also replaced and the original body top and rear panels were used in the rebuild. The lower skirt was replaced.

It was sold in 2009 to Mr Tonge from Preston, passing to the deceased in 2013 as an unfinished project, although it must have been used prior to that as there are eight MOTs from the late 2000s on file. He carried on the work, the car spending some time in the paint shop, from where his son recently exhumed the car following his demise.

Now requiring some recommissioning, the car looks in excellent condition thanks to its fresh paintwork. Sold with a current V5C, it will be a rewarding task to get the car back on the road and it is offered with no reserve so the best bid takes it home.
