One of several TR6 models in our sale today, this TR is also a CP-series model with the peppy camshaft 150bhp but it has been modified by the installation of two SU carburettors.
This was probably done to get over the 'issues' that could affect the fuel injected cars which have now been overcome by improved injection systems. Or it may be because a previous owner found SU carburettors are easier to tune. Who knows?
The car is otherwise largely standard with overdrive and only shows 50,778 on the odometer which cannot be verified but it has certainly only covered around 600 miles in the last dozen years. Now MOT exempt, the last ticket expired on 12th September 2018, it also comes with a V5C, five old MOTs and a workshop manual.
