Citröen’s idiosyncratic 2CV has always had its own following but in recent years they have seen a strong resurgence in popularity. This 1983 Charleston came towards the end of the car’s long production run (1948-90).
The car runs well but is in need of attention to the body. Its last MOT expired in February 2015 and there will undoubtedly be work to do. Spares for these cars are plentiful, surprisingly cheap and their construction makes restoration easier than it is for most post-War cars.
There is a V5C and a large file of paperwork with related information on the car, construction and parts availability. Once finished it would make an ideal contender for the annual 2CV 24 Hour Race in Anglesey.
