The Hot Hatch Hero of the ‘80s and arguably of the ‘90’s too, the Peugeot 205 GTi has firmly cemented its place in the motoring hall of fame.

This smart March 1988 phase1.5 example boasts the fizzing 1.9 litre four-pot so deserving of the GTi moniker and has covered a modest 113,500 miles to date with a good service history comprising 12 stamps up to 96,000 miles with various additional invoices for works carried out. It was recently treated to a new exhaust, starter motor and alternator to ensure it remains fighting fit.

Finished in red with a glass sunroof and half-leather interior, all seems to be in good order throughout and it still retains its original handbooks. Reported to run and drive as it should, it has an MOT until September 2019 with no advisories recorded.
