This lovely 1964 Singer Gazelle MkV has had only two owners from new and has been in the current ownership since 1982.
The condition of the car is remarkable and the state of the pedal rubbers, steering wheel and interior support the low recorded mileage of just 44,697 miles. The seats are protected by PVC covers and the rears appear never to have been sat in since they were first fitted 54 years ago.
Indeed the whole car looks much as it must have done when new, even down to the distinctive chrome hub-caps. The engine bay and the boot – two areas which are often neglected by owners – are both in a condition that is a tribute to the two owners of the car, which has only covered 17 miles in the last 4 years.
On offer here from a deceased estate, there is sadly little paperwork with the car other than the V5C and 16 old MOTs but the condition speaks for itself. Singers of this period are not common by any definition and this one is particularly tidy. The new owner will have a lot to be proud of and a lot to match up to.
