This MGB dates from January 1972 and has recently been pulled from a dry barn in rural Herefordshire where it had been quietly slumbering for several years, the last MOT having expired in 2012 (with no advisories).

Our vendor has had the car mechanically overhauled including a new radiator, starter motor, fuel pump, points, rotor arm, condenser, plugs, oil service, brake calliper, wheel cylinder, brake master cylinder, fresh brake fluid and a new battery. The car now starts, stops and drives as it should with working overdrive, and has covered over 600 trouble-free miles since it was resurrected.

The history file contains a V5C, 12 old MOTs dating back to the early ‘90s and a ream of maintenance invoices totalling over £8,000 since 1986. This includes £2,500 worth of works in 2005 relating to replacement castle sections, sills and jacking points, plus a further more recent spend of £700+ on the aforementioned mechanical overhaul.

Finished in Signal red with two-tone grey and blue cloth interior, it has a Webasto roof with pop-up Perspex wind deflector to make the most of the wonderful weather we have been experiencing of late.

Recently treated to a full body restoration and respray the car looks super and is ready to be thoroughly enjoyed particularly given its both tax and MOT exempt.
