A smart and sonorous Vantage Volante supplied new in March 2008 by HWM Aston Ltd of Surrey to its lucky first owner, this car has had only two keepers since, our vendor owning and enjoying the car for the last two years.

Finished in Tungsten Silver with black leather featuring a coarse silver stich and optional DBS-style clear rear light clusters (a £1,000 extra) it still looks the business 10 years on. The specification also includes desirable six-speed manual transmission, xenon headlights, a wind deflector, powerful 700w premium stereo with bluetooth connectivity, sat nav, tracker, rear parking sensors and a lovely alcantara headlining inside the soft top.

The V8 Vantage is well known for its rorty soundtrack and this car is no exception with the added delight of having the exhaust valves switchable on a remote control with ‘his and hers’ fobs to allow quiet, mellow cruising or the full Pavarotti cacophony for those Alpine blasts – or to impress the other shoppers at Tesco!

The history file is substantial with no fewer than 10 service stamps to back up its 72,965 miles, all by Aston Martin, along with five further stamps for anti-corrosion checks. The last service was carried out by Aston Heritage in June 2016 at 70,881 miles at a cost of £1,059 which included transmission oil and brake fluid changes. The car was also treated to a new clutch and flywheel in 2011 at 43,000 miles and refurbished alloy wheels in 2014. Evidently wanting for nothing, this Vantage was cosseted under AM’s extended warranty until April 2015.

The car comes with a current MOT until October 2019 (with three advisories for tyres and an anti-roll bar link), six old MOTs, various invoices, Tracker documentation, spare key and owner’s manual. With 380bhp to play with and drop dead gorgeous looks, this fantastic British bruiser will have you looking for any excuse to take it for a spin and has already caught the eye of our own Roy Shock who claims it has his name all over it – the private plate R10 OOY comes with the car!
