First registered in March 2000, this top-of-the-range Vogue-spec P38 Range Rover is a face-lift version with the improved ‘Thor’ version of the 215bhp 4.6 V8 engine (new Bosch engine management, improved inlet manifold etc) mated to five-speed automatic transmission with full time four-wheel drive that offers a proper low ratio option for when the going gets tough.

Sitting above the SE and HSE versions, the Vogue featured all the toys and this one is no exception: full leather interior piped blue; electric heated memory seats with lumbar adjustment; walnut trim; cruise control; Harmon Kardon sound system; front fog lights; heated front and rear screens; climate control with A/C; electric windows, sunroof and mirrors; on-board trip computer; twin front arm rests; cup holders and swathes of soft cream leather. The air suspension works as it should, providing the famously cosseting, yet lofty ride.

This car has covered 99,600 miles which is uncommonly low for one of these most usable and practical of beasts and is backed up by a service book showing 9 service stamps, a file of invoices, two old MOTs and extended warranty information from 2010 suggesting it has been well looked after. It was last serviced in August 2018 including plugs, filters, a replacement ABS/brake master cylinder, AFM and track rod end and tie assembly.

The car has a useful tow bar and also boasts a stainless exhaust which emits a discreet V8 burble. The bodywork is very presentable for its 18 years and the factory fit (but removable) rubber bull bars remind us of another era, very Nineties/Noughties!

A great opportunity to pick up a late 4.6 Vogue in smart, usable order with an MOT running until October 2019 with only one advisory recorded and no pesky LPG kit fitted like so many others!
