First registered on the 8th April 1954 this Austin A40 Somerset has spent much of its life in and around Shrewsbury. Nothing is known of its early life, but MOT history shows that it has only done 89 miles in the last 28 years – four trips to the MOT station and possibly the odd car show, perhaps?
OWD 417 is a runner but some attention is advised before it is taken out on the road again. It is tax- and MOT-exempt but that the law would like it be roadworthy. We are told that the brakes have been reconditioned recently which is an indication that it has not been totally neglected.
