One of a brace of 996 generation 911s in the sale, here, in arguably its purest form is a rear-drive Carrera 2 coupe mated to the more relaxed 5 speed automatic/Tiptronic transmission.

This fine face-lift 3.4-litre coupe was supplied new by Evans Halshaw Porsche in July of 2000 and has covered only 66,000 miles in the hands of its two owners. Our lady vendor has had the car since August 2013 and covered around 10,000 enjoyable miles – with much greater comfort than the preceding Morgan!

The car presents beautifully, finished in silver and sitting on Turbo-style alloys with anthracite leather interior, optional sunroof and digital climate control. The car comes with a superb history comprising 14 service stamps, with all but two being carried out by Porsche main dealers. The last two were at Independent specialists, most recently in January 2019 with supporting invoices. There are a further four stamps for brake fluid changes, seven long life condition reports and two airbag stamps.

The car comes with a current MOT running until August 2019 showing only two advisories for tyre wear. In such smart, clean condition, this 996 represents an excellent entry-point into modern, water-cooled 911 ownership.

Prices of 996 models have been somewhat deflated over the past few years but the model has seen a resurgence in popularity since the market has woken up to their usability and easily accessible performance.

AMENDMENT; Bidders are advised that this car has had three previous keepers and not two owners as catalogued.
