How many of you know that actress Grace Kelly owned a Rover P4? Well, she did, and Brightwells would like to tell you that this is that very car. Sadly, however, it’s not. It is similar, though.
This 1960 Rover 100 was bought by our vendor in 2007 and has had little use since, although we cannot tell you how many miles as the speedo stopped working around 11 years ago.
The car runs and drives but will be all the better for a little tlc from its new owner. It has been stored well and used lightly in the past 12 years but is showing its age a little here and there. However, these are well-built cars, spares are available and it is being offered for sale with no reserve.
It has a current V5C, four old MOTs, some invoices and manuals and catalogues on file and last passed an MOT in July 2016 and was only admonished for a poor nearside headlight and that non-working speedo. It had a new battery fitted in 2018 and that is still inside its two-year warranty period……
The car is offered for sale as the owner is about to move house and cannot take Aunty with him. YRK 761 is a useable car and looks like a suitable candidate for a rolling restoration.
