This is a striking, late model face-lift R129 series Mercedes SL320 first supplied in September 1999 and is finished in Brilliant silver with contrasting blue Nappa leather interior, blue soft-top and MB five spoke alloy wheels.

Being a face-lift car, it features the much improved V6 3.2-litre engine which develops a mighty 220bhp driving through a five-speed automatic transmission. With a high specification, this car stands head and shoulders above other regular R129s because it has the much sought-after glass panoramic removable hard-top, giving a crisper, neater, sleeker line to the car when fitted; with its slimmer rear pillars and all glass top, filling the cabin with light.

The spec goes on to include full blue soft Nappa leather interior with electric heated seats and driver memory, rear seats, walnut trim including half-timbered steering wheel, cruise control, electrically adjustable steering column, Xenon lights, wind deflector, head lamp wash etc

It has recently been treated to some paint refreshment after 19 years of use as well as refurbished alloy wheels and a replacement air flow meter. The history file includes the V5C showing just five previous keepers, the car having been in the current ownership since 2014. There are invoices, a service book showing 13 stamps to back up its modest 99,000 miles and a current MOT certificate until August 2019 also on file.
