First supplied new in April 1957, this sporty looking A35 was comprehensively restored and finished in December 2018 with photographs on file of the works undertaken including an engine rebuild to stock 948cc spec and a fitted with a retrimmed interior.
The car comes to us from a private collection along with three other A30 and A35’s, all fully restored by the vendor’s firm bar the van, which is totally original. As a result, the works have been carried out through the business and no documentation is presently available to support the works – but take a look at the cars and its plain to see the level of detail and restoration carried out.
Sitting on standard wheels with chrome caps and an eye-catching cream and deep-red roof, windscreen-surround and horseshoe grill colour combo, the car looks a treat.
On the inside, you’ll see the interior has been re-trimmed to match the roof with smart burgundy fluted leather seats plus a series of three additional gauges – all very cool.
The history file contains the V5C, original buff log book, old invoices, photographs of the restoration, and handbook. This A35 is of course MOT and Tax exempt and is ready to be enjoyed through the summer show season.
