Found hidden away, covered in dust, this Worcester supplied Westminster A110 has remained its whole life on the Worcestershire/Herefordshire borders.

Now in fine fettle, this April 1962 Westminster was supplied new to Mr Sinnott by H.A Saunders Ltd. He kept the car until his death some 15 years ago. It was purchased from the deceased estate, but stayed hidden away until our vendor found it in 2016.

Requiring a little welding, the car was also resprayed in its original Alaskan blue and treated to an engine service. The car was specified new with optional fresh air heater, overdrive and central gearshift. As a Deluxe model, the car also boasted a deep blue leather interior which has retained its colour and oozes that lovely patina which is impossible to recreate.

The car reportedly runs and drives as it should and certainly moved around with ease at the time of our visit, the big six sounding smooth and quiet.

Documentation on file includes the current V5C, correspondence with the Westminster owners club and DVLA regarding entitlement to its original registration (unsuccessful), Heritage certificate and copies of, details of a speedo repair by Speedy cables, photocopy of the buff log book, London, a current MOT until September 2019 showing no advisories, photographs of the car as found covered in dust wearing 20 GWP and a rather charming parking ticket stub dated June 1968 from the Malvern show.

Good A110 Westminsters are hard to find these days, so many having fallen into the hands of banger racers who loved them for their grunt and indestructability - such a shame as they were fine cars. We are therefore pleased to offer this manual/overdrive Deluxe example which has escaped such an undignified fate.
