Another of our bunch of French Hot Hatch legends on offer today, this one comes in 1.6 GTi guise and is in fine fettle.

It has 21 service stamps on file, the last in May 2019 at 115,002 miles the car is considered ready to rock, with the grin factor turned up to 9.

This retro Hot Hatch has had just two owners from new, the first for some 21 years and the second for the last five – hard to find now, as many have been through countless owners - it was such a “must have” car in period.

Finished in red, with period correct pepper pot alloys, black and red cloth interior and sunroof, the car looks to be in original, unspoilt order throughout. The car has recently been treated to new rear shocks, brake cylinders and shoes along with new rear beam mounts and front callipers. The car has its V5C, owner’s manuals, aforementioned service book, 20 old MOTs and current clean ticket until May 2020 with no advisories.

Good, low owner cars are hard to come by. This is one of those. Buy it, enjoy it and use it sparingly and watch this Modern Classic grow in value.
