Supplied new in November 1998 this smart Impreza looks like the rally cars we all remember, but is more the ‘thinking mans’ version, as its actually the naturally aspirated 2000 Sport version with a two-litre naturally aspirated Boxer engine driving all four wheels with manual transmission.
A four-owner car, it presents very well and has just 53,602 miles on the clock at the time of cataloguing.
Uncommon to say the least, most were used and abused or kitted up to look like something they weren’t or butchered for panels for beaten up WRX examples.
The car’s history file includes the V5C, owner’s manual but unfortunately no service history, however, a quick look online at its MOT history shows the car’s mileage has gently risen since 2006 from 13,317 to its current clean test with no advisories.
Our vendor has had the car since 2015 but used so infrequently, he feels this is an injustice and would rather it go to someone who will use it more.
