Supplied new by the Bristol Street Motor Company to its first owner in August 1990, this Mulsanne S features the brakes, sportier suspension and plush interior of the Turbo R but is naturally aspirated – 6.75 litres not sufficient?

Our lucky owner purchased the car in June 1993 when it was just three years old and has cherished it ever since, running the car’s no expense spared maintenance regime through his business until retirement and then under his own steam.

Finished in Royal Blue with cream hide piped blue and light timber cappings, it has 137,000 miles under its belt, an average of only 4,700 per annum. The car features lambswool over rugs, electric heated memory seats, radio cassette and A/C.

The two service books contain no fewer than 33 service stamps, and there is an owner’s manual and two keys. There are invoices, but as previously stated, the car was maintained through a business so many of these have been snapped up by accountants. In more recent times, its been looked after by independent specialist Starmans and before that by Exclusive Cars of Nottingham. In 2017 the rear accumulators and valves were replaced, rear gas springs and steering rack in 2018 and in 2019, a new electric seat ECU was installed along with new fuel pumps.

Bentleys of this era commonly suffer corrosion, however, anything needing taking care of was sorted by Davies Motor Company of Cardiff who we understand are a Bentley Approved repair centre.

Reluctantly for sale due to retirement relocation to Spain, the car has proven to be like an old friend after 29 years, but, needs must. If you desire a Mulsanne S, look no further than this well-kept example – you won’t be disappointed.

NB. Buyers please note the private plate pictured will be retained prior to the sale and the car sold with the age-related plate H330 XNW.

AMENDMENT; Please note that this car has a cassette player and not a CD
