Purchased from Oselli in 2002 with just 32,000 miles by its two owners, the car was unrestored and original having been Ziebarted from new (stickers still present).

Over the following 17 years, our vendor covered just 3,000 miles, but sought to improve it where possible while retaining the original look and feel. The car’s white bodywork has still never been restored.

Improvements included chrome bumpers instead of rubber, fitting uprated shocks with shortened, stiffened springs at the front and de-cambered leaf springs and telescopic Spax adjustable rear shocks resulting in a 55mm lowered ride height.

Under the bonnet, standard SU’s were binned in favour of a big single Weber 45 with pump jets giving instant pick-up and freer flowing manifold with stainless exhaust. Braking was improved with G-Force grooved discs and pads. Traction improved with wider rubber on the 6J Minilite style alloy wheels.

Inside, a Motolita steering wheel was fitted complimenting the black leather interior piped red with oxblood red carpets and seatbelts. A battery isolation switch was also added behind the driver’s seat. There are both full and part tonneau covers too.

This year’s MOT which runs until May 2020 showed no advisories but required new callipers, track rod ends and rack boots thus ensuring the car is ready to be enjoyed.

The history file is comprehensive including original purchase invoice from Henlys, a factory workshop manual, service book with entries up to July 2001 at 30,316 miles, 2 sets of spare keys, old MOTs and other invoices detailing works completed throughout its life.

A properly sorted, low mileage and original late B. What’s stopping you?

AMENDMENT; Last recorded service in the book was in 2001 not 2012
