The World War Two Jeep has always been a stand-out vehicle in the world of classic cars, but in recent years it has increased in value drastically. This 1942 Willys offers an affordable entry into Jeep ownership.

Recently imported from the Philippines – where the Jeep is still seen as a working utility vehicle – it has been fitted with a much more modern 1500cc Toyota petrol engine and gearbox. Sadly, the conversion also turned the Jeep into a two-wheel drive model, but there are enough spares and knowledgeable people out there to reverse the modifications if required.

The alterations make the Jeep a more practical vehicle in many respects but do remove the spirit of the original car, a fact which is reflected in the estimate quoted.

The Jeep is UK-registered (LXS 155) and comes with a Military Trust certificate. It is tax and MOT exempt.
