Appearing to be in good, usable order, this Woody was driven some 100 miles to the sale by the vendor.
Dating from January 1965 and finished in light blue/grey, this Morris boasts the usual 1,098cc A-series lump with manual transmission and a solid looking timber frame. The interior looks to be in good order, the car affectionately known as “Dorris the Morris”.
It has recently had a reconditioned gearbox fitted that necessitated the engine removal costing some £1,100 in July 2018 by Ross MOT Centre along with an antifreeze change only 2,000 miles ago.
There is also the V5C, a thick tome of a workshop manual, owners manual and VOSA MOT history print-out showing the car to have a valid MOT until July 2019 with just two minor advisories recorded for wear in both upper suspension arm pins/bushes. The MOT history shows regular use between tests, but only circa 6,000 miles have been covered in the last 13 years.
A smart example that’s ready to be enjoyed.
