The superb E30 series of BMW compact saloons and coupes ran from 1982 until 1994 and, to many enthusiasts, were the last of the real driver-focused models from BMW.
One of the most popular models in the E30 line up was the 318i which initially had a 105bhp M10 four-cylinder engine but from 1987 had an improved 113bhp M40 engine which upped the top speed to 115mph and delivered a 0-60 time of 12 seconds for the automatic and 10.8 seconds for the manual version.
Dating from February 1990 and supplied by Cooper BMW of Park Lane London, this prim and proper 318i two-door automatic has covered 131,344 miles and has had just four owners, the last two being father and son who have had it for the last 25 years.
Finished in classic Alpine White with grey trim, it has power steering and central locking as standard while extras include electric front windows, a radio/cassette and manual sunroof.
It comes with complete boot lid tool kit, handbooks and a service book with some 16 service stamps plus additional stamps for brake fluid along with an array of receipts showing main dealer and independent attention.
