£100,000 when new (and in 1987 £100,000 was £100,000) and described by Autocar as “An outrageous concoction of sledgehammer performance and sybaritic luxury” this Bentley Turbo R has, sadly, come down in the world somewhat.
The car may be 32 years old and in need of some attention, but the quality is still there and the suggested estimate makes this a lot of car for very little money – about £1.20 per lb if we take the upper estimate. You would pay more for a Big Mac.
