Supplied new by Ashton Lyne Motors in August of 1992, this quirky 205 van comes in naturally aspirated 1.8 diesel XAD GL specification (to be precise). Our enthusiast vendor found this little gem a year ago in Rhyl where it had been stored away in a secluded yard by its fourth keeper for the last ten years.
Needing some minor recommissioning including four new tyres, a timing belt service, new rear silencer, radiator and water pump, it flew through its MOT with no advisories. There isn’t much paperwork with it bar its V5C, current MOT and numerous old MOTs dating back to 1997 confirming the low mileage of 87,893 and some sundry invoices for the recent works.
Understood to run and drive as it should, it always raises a smile or a cheery comment wherever it goes, is reluctantly for sale and will be sorely missed.
