This lovely Laurel Green MGB GT has been treated to a full restoration that cost some £12,000 to complete. Still said to be in excellent order throughout, it has many nice details including a Webasto sunroof, a black leather interior piped in red and a sporty woodrim steering wheel. During the restoration the car was sensibly modified to make it more suited to modern road conditions including the fitment of a Mk2 engine with an uprated Kent cam; adjustable Koni suspension; oil cooler; stainless steel sports exhaust and a new gearbox and overdrive. It has only covered some 3,000 miles since the restoration was completed and is said to drive beautifully. It was last serviced in May this year, is taxed until September and is due to have a fresh MOT before the sale. Valued at £7,500 by the MG Owners Club in 2006, it looks excellent value at the guide price suggested today.
