First registered in November 1957, this 500cc Triumph Speed Twin ‘bath-tub’ model is said to be in good condition all round and has been resprayed in Amaranth Red and fitted with new wheel rims and exhausts within the last 10 years. Said to be in good running order, it has been used sparingly in the last few years, old MOTs showing approximately 2,000 miles covered per year. It was fitted with a new alternator in April 2009 to cure a charging problem. Now proving too heavy for it’s owner, it has been reluctantly replaced with a smaller, lighter machine. Currently taxed and with an MOT until August 2010, it is ready for immediate use.
