First registered in June 1931, this rare 1hp (98cc) Excelsior is fitted with a Villiers Midget Marvel engine. This machine was partially restored by its previous owner who converted it to coil ignition in order to get it to run (the coil is situated in the toolbox). It features a 2-speed Albion gearbox with rocking pedal on the right side footrest (who said the Japanese thought of that?) and comes with an old logbook (RF60) and V5 retaining its original Berkshire registration, RX 8829, which is transferable.
