First registered in September 1955, this NSU Max Special has come from long term family ownership. The vendor states that it “rides and runs extremely well” as you would expect from any motorcycle produced by the Auto Union group of companies – when new this machine cost the same as a 650cc Triumph Bonneville. The 250cc racing version of the machine won many Grand Prix in the hands of riders like John Surtees. The bike is supplied with an MOT until March 2012.
