The Spanish built Montessa Cota was a world championship winning machine. Rugged, tough and reliable they could be made to go anywhere in the right hands. This example was purchased by the vendor some years ago and used around his property. A few years later the fuel tap started to leak, was dismantled for repair but somehow never got put back together again, the bike having lain dormant ever since. The engine turns over and with some light re-commissioning this bike should once again prove its worth in the field.
