Our second McEvoy Special on offer consists of a significant collection of components from which to build a car. It consists of:
Morris rolling chassis with V5C, including front and rear axles
Wheels (from an earlier Morris)
Steering column
Radiator and cowl
Brakes
Bonnet
Various original door panels, including a door, o/s side panel and tool box
Correct type side-valve engine
6v dynamo
Gearbox
Rare gear lever extension
Front seats
Headlights and pork pie rear light
Down-draft carburettor as per ‘Model 70’
Large quantity of seasoned ash sufficient to complete a body
Whilst undoubtedly a major undertaking, it is believed that only three other such cars exist, making this a very worthwhile project, with the majority of the hard-to-find components included in the kit.
