The Yamaha V Series came in a number of engine sizes, from 50cc to 90cc, and was introduced to compete with the all conquering Honda C50/90 range of step-thru mopeds.
Styled much along the same lines, the Yamaha used a 2-stroke engine instead and sold well, having a top whack of about 40mph and sipping hardly any fuel.
Dating from 1972, this 90cc example comes from a deceased estate, the speedometer showing just 2,066 miles. Unfortunately there is no supporting paperwork with this machine so we are unable to confirm that this low figure is correct. It is offered here at no reserve.
