Long, low and oh so sleek, the wonderful 1995 X300 series at last recaptured the cat-like grace that had traditionally been a hallmark of Jaguar saloons before the designers lost their way a bit in the 1980s.

In 1997 things got better still with the launch of the X308 which had not only an improved interior and even better suspension, but also a fabulous new V8 under the bonnet. Available in 3.2 or 4-litre capacities, it was a wonderfully refined and powerful unit (230bhp and 290bhp) with an outstanding record of reliability once the Nikasil bore wear problems of some early cars was sorted.

Dating from March 2002, this 3.2 Executive looks superb in metallic Carnival Red with an Oatmeal hide interior. It has covered just 85,000 miles to date in the hands of only three owners and comes with a full service history being last serviced less than 2,000 miles ago.
