The VFR800 superceded the previous lot, the iconic VFR750-F in 1998. Featuring an all new 781cc engine with fuel injection, it became the mid-size sports tourer of choice thanks to its wide power band and low speed torque.

Graduating from a smaller capacity machine, its proverbial ‘one careful lady owner’ has covered just 6,980 miles since she purchased it new from Skellerns in Worcester for £6,997 in September 1999.

Kept in a heated garage over winter, it has only seen summer use and has been regularly serviced, originally by the supplying dealer and then by local specialists in Hereford as shown by the sheaf of invoices - the most recent this year costing £192.  A complete run of old MOTs (11 in all) are on file confirming the low mileage.

Datatag protected, it comes with all of its original documentation inlcuding the purchase invoice, toolkit, colour coded pillion seat cover and useful top box, the vendor adding that this last item was added more to hide the view for those following behind than as storage! Finished in safe and eye catching yellow, this well cared for one owner machine is taxed and MOTd until July 2015 having been barely run in.
