The BSA C15 was the company's unit construction replacement for the indestructible C12 250.
The largest capacity machine that could be ridden on a learner's licence at the time, it was hugely popular and became, for many, the first real experience on two wheels. The bike was largely based on the 200cc Triumph Tiger Cub and its buoyant sales helped with BSA’s claim to be the world's most popular motorcycle.
This sound looking 1965 example was purchased by the vendor’s late father without paperwork. The engine is free and has compression, the machine appearing to be largely complete with the exception of the rear light lens which is missing. The frame and engine numbers are clearly visible so it should be possible for the new owner to re-register the machine with an age related number in the normal way.
