This very clean and tidy Austin Seven engine was purchased by the vendor as a spare.
He does not know anything about its internal condition, but everything looks to have been carefully assembled with new gaskets and fixings. The carburettor is a non-original 22T Zenith which was a common after-market fitment in period and it is complete with a dynamo, distributor and starter motor mounting.
The crankcase would appear to date from late 1929 or early 1930. Also included in this lot is a later, 4-speed Austin Seven gearbox.
