Every right minded enthusiast should have an MGB at some time in their life. It is at this point that they will appreciate that a classic car doesn’t need to cost a fortune to run, break down all the time or be slow and uncomfortable.
There are a host of very good reasons why the MGB has remained so enduringly popular and before anyone dismisses them because of their popularity, they should at least try one first.
This bright red 1973 tax exempt example has been the subject of an older restoration. The vendor informs us that the paintwork is still bright and fresh, with lots of old bills and photographs on file showing details of the work done.
The black leather seats have been piped in red and it is fitted with a gearstick operated overdrive. A total of 31 old MOTs are included in the documents, along with a Heritage Certificate and we are advised that it is due to carry a fresh MOT in time for the sale.
