Boys and their toys - bragging rights down at the pub don’t come much better than owning your own hovercraft!
One of a pair of air-borne craft in our sale today, this exciting Bombardier-powered hovercraft is ready for flight and is decidedly less hazardous-looking than the VertiPod flying machine elsewhere in this catalogue! Purchased by the vendor to entertain the kids, it has spent its recent past on the beach at St Andrews in Scotland. Coming with its own purpose-built trailer, it has been in regular use and is described as "enormous fun" and "guaranteed to put a smile on your face".
Capable of covering land and water, it is extremely simple to operate, although needs a certain amount of practice to master tight turns – but hey, that’s half the fun. Its 2-stroke 600cc Bombardier engine has been fired up since its arrival on-site, although sadly the Brightwells team hasn’t had a chance (yet) to have a play with it.
We’re not quite sure who built it or when exactly, but it is very basic, simple and sturdy and the trailer alone looks good value at the modest guide price suggested!
