This late entry Land Rover Series III 88” Diesel has had a major rebuild in the recent past. The chassis has been galvanised and parabolic springs fitted which transform the ride characteristics. It comes with a drop-bar and electrics and the front seats have been replaced with more comfortable Land Rover items.
The engine fires up quickly and the transmission functions as it should, including the four-wheel drive and low-ratio system. Unused for a little while, its most recent MOT expired in August 2015, this sturdy and well cared for vehicle coming with a current V5C but no other paperwork. Just the thing to have at hand this coming winter, these Series IIIs will never be better value than they are now and this one has clearly had a lot of money spent on it in the right areas. Thanks to its galvanised chassis and aluminium bodywork it should comfortably outlast its new owner!
