THIS CAR HAS NOW BEEN WITHDRAWN AND WILL NOW BE IN OUR 18th MARCH SALE. APOLOGIES FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE CAUSED.

This 1960 Triumph TR3A is finished in Royal Blue with black sports trim and was previously owned for 25 years by a local Herefordshire enthusiast. The current vendor prepared the car for competition use and had entered it into the 2006 Spa Six Hour Race but was eventually unable to attend and had to withdraw. The car has been garaged and unused since apart from a run to the MOT station to get a fresh 12 month certificate.

The specification includes: standard engine and overdrive gearbox; Phoenix stainless 4-branch exhaust manifold; Facet fuel pump with adjustable regulator; narrow belt alternator conversion with harmonic crank damper; thermostatically controlled Kenlowe fan; 13 row oil cooler; rack-and-pinion steering conversion; Motolita steering wheel; 72-spoke wire wheels; high-torque starter motor; 3.5-inch Monza alloy fuel cap; period Corbeau bucket seats with Luke full harness belts; Safety Devices FIA roll cage; fire extinguisher.

The car comes complete with steel works hardtop, side screens, tonneau cover, hood and aero screens. It also has Lucas 7-inch 700S spotlights and a very rare works-type rally roof light. An old style greenlog book is also included. Altogether a fantastic looking piece of kit that deserves to be out where it belongs, either blatting down country lanes for fun or mixing it with other classic racers out on the track.
