No debate about whether this Isis should be allowed back in the country and anyway, it’s already here. Dressed top-to-bottom in its trademark black, this ‘50s Morris has been repatriated from the former penal colony of Australia, presumably on the basis of having done its time and paid its debt to society.
This will be an exciting project for its new owner not only for the fact that it starts and runs and has no brakes, but also for the non-standard quick-release petrol tank in the boot. Powered by the same C-Series 2,660cc engine used in the Austin-Healey 100, this Morris has immense potential only matched by its plethora of patina and would make a great long-distance rally car. Or member of the Oily Rag movement.
It is not currently UK registered but does have a NOVA reference which will make registration a formality using the requisite DVLA form.
