Built in the final year of A30 production before being superseded by the similar looking A35, this AS4 saloon version is powered by the 803cc A-series motor and was supplied new in January 1956.
Finished in black with contrasting red leatherette interior and matching red carpets, the car looks a treat and has seen much recent work including a new exhaust and mounts, new engine mounts, battery, carb kit and dynamo, engine service including water pump, brake shoes, dampers and bushes along with new carpets, window rubbers and four new tyres.
The history file includes documents to support the above works along with V5C and handbook. The car is course both tax and MOT exempt so there’s not much standing in the way of a purchase, particularly given how well A30s and A35s have been doing of late – a good little investment too perhaps.
