Introduced in 2006 for only two years, the E86 Z4 Coupe followed the successful introduction of the E85 Z4 Roadster unveiled in 2002.

With its sleek design, the coupe offered greater structural rigidity than its roadster sibling and considerably more luggage room with its useful hatch-back design and built in rear spoiler - positioned to deliver specific downforce on the rear axle to improve stability at high speed.

Equipped exclusively with the higher performance 3.0 ‘Si’ version of BMW’s marvellous straight-six N52B30 engine developing 261bhp, this slippery coupe could accelerate to sixty in just 5.6 seconds and onto a limited top speed of 155mph.

This smart October 2007 ‘57 plate car comes in desirable Sport specification finished in a beautiful shade of Montego blue with desirable six speed manual transmission and boasts an appealing array of optional extras including black leather M-Sport interior, 18” split rim alloy wheels, Sport mode, dash mounted sat nav system, automatic xenon lights, cruise, rear parking sensors, electric heated memory seats, AC, tyre pressure monitor and multi-function steering wheel.

It has covered 106,882 miles with five stamps in the service book, invoices, five old MOTs and a current MOT running until July 2020 with just two advisories for tyre wear and looks mighty tempting at the attractive guide price suggested.

Consider this, the Z4M Coupe is at least twice the price and offers just 80bhp more – how much faster in the real world is it likely to be? This is certainly no ‘poor-mans’ Z4M and its styling seems to look better with every passing year.
