Ford Model-T Pickup

History

Here we have a rare unrestored Ford Model-T Pickup that can be used as it is or gradually improved over time. Currently on French number plates and with no paperwork, it was apparently used for many years as a workhorse in various French vineyards. Still said to be in good running order, it has recently been treated to a new radiator, new coolant hoses, new plugs and leads and reconditioned trembler coils.

New oak planks have been fitted to the sides and bottom of the load area, which still sits on its original ash crossbeams. The vehicle will be fitted with a canvas roof covering and a side-mounted wheel carrier before the sale. Looking splendidly original (and, to these eyes at least, somewhat spooky!), this is a very rare vehicle that should amply reward the sympathetic restoration that it now requires.
