This 1959 Ford 10 Special is said to be based on a chassis built by an ex-Caterham engineer. It is powered by a rebuilt and tuned 100E 1,172cc side-valve Aquaplane engine with an alloy head, twin Solex carburettors, four-branch exhaust manifold and Scintilla Vertex magneto.
Other features include: all-aluminium bodywork; E93A running gear; hydraulic brakes; Wooler remote gear change; high ratio rear axle; telescopic dampers; rebuilt 15ins wheels and new tyres. The car comes with a large history file including a V5. Resembling a Dellow, this machine has great trialling potential and should be very quick. The vendor states that it will require a new wiring loom to pass the MOT.
